Q: What is the commission and what are the costs?
We can be brief about that; there is none. As a tenant you do not pay brokerage or brokerage fees. You pay the first month's rent and deposit tot he landlord before exchanging the keys. Rent is always paid one month in advance.
In some cases (own entrepreneurs or tenants with an increased risk) a deposit or bank guarantee is requested. You also have to pay these for key handover when signing the contract
Q: Can someone vouch for me?
A: Yes that is possible. The guarantor must therefore also sign.
Q: What are the monthly fixed charges?
A: In addition to the rental price, you must take into account a number of fixed costs. Your individual energy costs depend on your consumption. The Nibud website provides a good indication of this. Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Usually pets are not allowed. You will find this in the description of the house.
Q: As a tenant, what maintenance do I have to carry out myself?
A: With the lease, you will receive the "Minor Repairs Decree" as standard, which clearly states which minor maintenance is the tenant's responsibility.
Q: What is covered by service costs?
A: Service costs are costs that are in addition to the basic rent of a house. For example, costs for cleaning, garden maintenance, upholstery and furniture and the caretaker. Q: Can Find a House find a home for me?

Q: How long does it take before my home is online?
A: We will place the property online as soon as possible. In most cases, we even manage to place the house online the same day after measuring and photographing. In extreme cases, it will take up to 48 hours.
Q: What does Find a House do to place reliable tenants?
A: People who want to rent via Find a House must be able to identify themselves. In addition, prospective tenants must have sufficient financial capacity to pay the monthly rent. For this we request access to an employment contract. We also do a credit check, we call the employer and we ask for references from former landlords. Find a House mainly mediates to expats, families, starters and singles.
